Saint's, 2-2 after win vs Roman.....

Posted Wednesday, March 26, 2008 by Saint's Reporter

The Saint's rebounded well after the Bonner loss and took out their frustrations against Roman Catholic and beat them by a score of 10-2.

Senior Pitcher T.J. Kinsey went out and pitched an ace of a game against his former team. It looked personal and seemed like Kinsey had something to proove. Kinsey started the game a little ruff and hit the first two batters. After that, he "K" the next batter and had the 4 & 5 batters hit into a 4-3 & 5-3 to end the inning w/ zero runs scored.

T.J. went the full 7 innings while allowing only 2 runs on 4 hit's and 5 strikeouts.

Meanwhile the defense stood strong and surrendered zero errors.

On the Offensive side of the ball, the Saint's jumped off to a 6-0 lead in the first inning off of 2 walks and 5 hit's while batting around the order. The Saint's finished with 10 total hit's which were led by Sophmore's Albert Baur, 2 for 4 w/ a double and 2 R.B.I's and Mark Donato, 2 for 3 w/ a Homerun and 1 R.B.I.

The Saint's next game is scheduled for this Saturday, 12:00pm @ 26th & Moore vs. Father Judge.
