Blaze Cedrone

There's reason for Saints' students and fans to look forward to 2008 and beyond with upcoming players such as Blaze Cedrone .The sophomore right fielder/pitcher who possesses an outstanding arm has seen action lately as a closer. In the most recent game against West Catholic, Cedrone struck out 3 in two innings. The Saints' coaching staff feel that Cedrone's up-side is great and "could be something special" in the Catholic League.

Fulginiti, the slick-fielding sophomore second baseman, has played flawlessly in the field and has one of the highest on-base percentages on the Saints team. Fulginiti is one of the most fundamentally sound second basemen in the Catholic League Southern Division and has not committed an error all season.

The Rock Behind the Plate
The Saints sophomore catcher Joe Armata is regarded as one of the premier catchers in the Catholic League Southern Division. Armata, who is the second leading hitter in batting and RBIs for the 2007 team, caught caught every game as a freshman last year. Known as a power hitter with a cannon-like throwing arm, Armata is beginning to take charge as one of the leaders of the Saints baseball club.
